Salud is excited to offer FREE doula support, which is like having a birth buddy! A doula is a non-medical birth partner that can help you prepare for birth and more.

Doulas provide support to the birthing person and their partner, which encourages deeper relaxation, increased comfort, and a better birthing experience. They are available through pregnancy, birth, and postpartum.

What Doulas do:

• Provide physical, emotional, and logistical support during the perinatal period.

• Can act as a knowledgable advocate during your birth.

• Can explain complicated medical procedures in a simple way.
